Rahim Neetoo is the third generation in a family deeply rooted in metalworking and engineering. Neetoo Industries, founded by his grandfather in the 1950s, began humbly in Port Louis crafting iron fences and theft-proof bars before expanding into Coromandel as a major manufacturer of steel products—including steel and galvanized pipes, playground equipment, garage doors, shutters, and fencing—with over 200 employees at its height 

Rahim himself holds an MSc and BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire. Even before graduating, he gained hands-on experience in the family business. After university, he played a pivotal role at Neetoo Industries, overseeing several departments related to metalwork manufacturing such as garage doors, shutters, and gates Inspired by innovation, Rahim later founded his own manufacturing venture, RN Direct, which evolved into Furnicon Ltd. Through Furnicon—established to offer quality garage doors, metal gates, accordion doors, and roller shutters—he continued to revolutionize metalworking in Mauritius 

At REB Welding, Rahim now applies his extensive expertise to driving production, managing quotations, and overseeing virtually all manufacturing operations—arguably the core of the company. His background in both hands-on fabrication and leadership across different ventures enables him to uphold precision, efficiency, and innovation at every level.

He bridges decades of family craftsmanship with modern engineering practices, ensuring that REB Welding not only honors its legacy but continues to advance it.
