As part of the fourth generation of engineers in his family, Mo brings fresh energy and technical focus to REB Welding. Currently studying engineering with a specialism in drafting and design, he is combining academic knowledge with hands-on industry experience, strengthening both his design skills and his practical understanding of fabrication.

Mo gains invaluable real-world experience by joining senior team member Alex McLean on visits to clients and suppliers. While many students leave university without understanding how the industry truly works, Mo is already learning first-hand how projects develop beyond the workshop. This exposure helps him build confidence in dealing with people, solving problems, and understanding the flow of work across the supply chain.

Mo’s path as a draftsman and design engineer in training, combined with his eagerness to learn from real-world situations, makes him an important part of REB Welding. His mix of academic study, hands-on workshop involvement, and industry exposure ensures he is developing into a well-rounded engineer with a deep understanding of both ethical values and practice
